#whitegirlproblems

So before I came home for break, I used a group-on to get a manicure. The manicurist put on this shellac polish instead of the usual kid, which chips after thirty seconds, or gel nails, which cost more. She kept talking about how to get it off, which was this big long process, which included a buffer and a file and some other stuff and because I was thinking about grading my finals, my historiography, etc. There was also a lot going on in the salon and I was kinda eavesdropping on the old ladies behind me.

That being said, it's now almost five weeks after I got this manicure and the polish is still on my nails and I can't for the life of me remember how to get it off. Obviously, I will be googling this at some point, but the concern is more that that has lasted on my nails for so long. What the heck must this stuff be made out of to last so long, especially with multiple swims, dish washing, etc.

I know that there is a lot going on in this world. But it's nice to be in a place at the moment where your biggest problem is a #whitegirlproblem.
