January- stick to the schedule that I have, including waking up between 7:00-7:20 each morning, even if I don't have anything specific that I get up to. Weekends don't count. The week does. Also, turning my phone and computer off by 10:00. Only reading right before I go to sleep. Eating healthy. Things like that.
February- practice the guitar 15 minutes a day. This harkens me back to middle and high school, where they wanted you to practice for at least 15 minutes a day. I always laughed because I usually practiced much longer. But it's been forever since I touched my guitar and that makes me sad. So in February, even if I'm in Boise, I bring my guitar with me and practice for a minimum of fifteen minutes.
March- write a thank you note or card to someone every day. This could be people that I go to school with, work with, stores or gyms that I frequent, anything I want. But each day I want to write them a note of gratitude for something that I've done. This may require a regular supply of stamps but that is a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
I haven't thought any further than these three months so far. But if you have any suggestions of monthly goals that will make me a more exciting, fascinating, nicer person, please let me know!
