So there are only certain kinds of shopping that I like. Book shopping I like. Furniture/home decorating shopping I like. Shoe shopping I enjoy. Grocery shopping I actually like. Clothes shopping, not so much. I think it's more of the hassle of taking all your clothes off, trying something on, debating in a tiny little fitting room (seriously, claustrophobia, anyone?) and then putting your clothes back on. I hate it. It's a total drag.
But, I powered through today and went on a shopping spree. My main goal was to find a dress for the gala (and then later shoes, depending on what dress I got) but as you will see, I did deviate slightly from the plan.
Five hours later, here is the "damage".
Shoes to go with the dress: $9 @ the Payless at Shopko (I don't know why I keep underestimating this place- I got my first pair of boots here, and my most recent pair of black boots).
Fur hood plaid sheep-skin lined jacket: $9.99 @ Macy's
Long-sleeved gray dress with flower detail at the color and short sleeved denim dress: $13 each at Ross.
New wellies, black with white polka-dot and pink lined: $12 @ Plato's Closet
New water bottles, orange one with a spout (easier for working out) and green double lined cup with a straw: $5 total @ Ross.

So yes, I made out like a bandit. If only I didn't have such a massive headache now.
SCORE!!!! On all counts...Well done!
