Last year we celebrated Yosh’s birthday out at the Ha-Penny (and then other places downtown but at this point, it was snowing too hard and I went home) but this year, we decided to have a house party. Abbey and I coordinated everything and we ended up having a decent sized group over at Megan, Jon and Bobcat’s house for a birthday party.
There were definitely some amusing drinking games going on, including Landmines and King’s Cup. Bobcat did not get the new rules and Jon had to rink from the King’s Cup at the end, which was gross. There was certainly a lot of (friendly) arguing and shouting. And there may have been some dancing to the Cha-Cha-Slide. And some beer shot-gunning (except for Jon, who got his all over the sidewalk). And of course, there was carrot cake with cream-cheese frosting, made by yours truly, which was quite a hit.
Happy birthday, Jon. Hope you remembered your birthday in the morning!
