In July, Candice came out to California from Phoenix to celebrate her birthday. I didn't have my camera so we took pictures on her i-phone. And then, of course, knowing Candice, it was not a surprise that it took forever to get the pictures from her. That's why I love Candice. So here is a recap, nine months delayed about our fun birthday weekend in sunny Southern California.
On Saturday morning, we met up with the lovely Miss Bethie for a bike ride down to a Farmer's Market at the RV park. It was the most disappointing Farmer's Market ever. There were several booths of veggies but not too many. There were, however, booths about a chocolate diet, Scentsy materials, these things to put under your helmet to keep your head cool while riding in the hot sun, and these balance bracelets that keep you from falling down (or something like that). We had a total blast walking around, kind of mocking the various booths and taking fun pictures.
The afternoon was spent at the pool relaxing and chatting with Allie and of course getting some sun. That night we had a BBQ and we made some cupcakes for Candice to celebrate her birthday.
But of course, you can't have a birthday celebration without drinks s owe went over to El Cholo for some drinks, some singing and some flan. She even got to wear a big hat. Awesome.
Happy birthday, Candice! It's only technically three more months until your next one. Let's do it again!
