This Blessed Plot, This Earth, This Realm: Ghost Adventures....

Kristen: I'm having another margarita.

And this sums up our Friday nights. About six months ago, Kristen and I discovered the INCREDIBLE-ness that is Ghost Adventures. GA stars Zac Steriods Baggins, Nick Strong-Silent-Type Groff, and Aaron the Beard Goodwin. These three individuals go off to the "scariest" and most haunted regions of the United States and investigate paranormal activities.

Every episode starts up with the same statement, explained by Zac: My name is Zac Bagans. I never believed in ghosts until I came face to face with one. So I set out on a quest to capture what I once saw onto video. With no big camera crews following us around, I am joined only by my fellow investigator Nick Groff and our equipment tech Aaron Goodwin. The three of us will travel to some of the most highly active paranormal locations, where we will spend an entire night, being locked down from dusk until dawn. Raw; extreme; these are our Ghost Adventures.

Boom. How can you not LOVE this show already. Especially when these are the guys you will be spending each hours with.

Bam.

The guys interview people connected to the location they are about to investigate. These people usually end up being a little bizarre in their own right. Then it's lockdown time and it's into the building for the entire night. Shenanigans ensue. Ghosts attack. They hear voices. Sometimes Nick gets locked into a morgue (why, we ask, why?). Zac usually goes a little roid crazy. Sometimes there's a friendly possession. Aaron usually freaks out. Nick just stands there quietly holding the camera unless he is being shut into the morgue or being possessed. Sometimes they hear voices. They tell us in great detail about their EMF and EVP meters, digital audio recorders, handheld digital video cameras, infared night visit cameras, themral imaging cameras, etc. Sometimes they get lost (it is dark...). There is always taunting of ghosts or specters. One time we were even lucky enough to see Zac get naked. And always they end up unscathed at the end (well, once in a while they get scratched or hit... or punched in the face like Aaron once). Sometimes Zac decides to look like Hannibal Lecter. Those are always fun nights.
