So my camera has a bunch of pictures on it from the World Cup Extravaganza on it (which I left at about 10:30 to toddle up to my room and go to bed since I was teaching at PF the following morning). However, I'm not 100% sure where my camera cord is and my room is a disaster area as I 'm packing everything up. I did just want to share that yes, even though I'm behind in posting pictures and blogs and such, I am fully enjoying the World Cup experience. I painted my face during the game, I made three delicious veggie platters and one large fruit platter for the party, I have been watching matches that do not involved teams that I really care that much about (although I did nap on the floor throughout the entire Ghana vs Slovakia? Serbia? whoever match since I had had two nights of pretty poor rest and it finally caught up with me). I've been listening to Baddiel and Skinner and their World Cup podcast and of course, checking up daily with my new favorite blog site, Yahoo's Dirty Tackle. And and Taylor Twellman's twitter since he has cool flags next to each team name. I don't know how he did that but I like it.
Hope everyone's enjoying the Cup. We certainly are- although I am about to invent a drinking game where you have to drink everytime they say Robert Green. When can we just get over it and move on?
I wanted a Cross of St. George on my forehead but Roni said no- I could only get the crosses if Michael had been playing. Way to rub salt in an open wound, kid.
