Homecoming Weekend is always one of my favorite weekends of the fall and this year was no different. I started out the weekend with the Women's Fitness Celebration, running/walking again with Ann, Stephanie and Britta. This time my running buddy was Steph and we made it all the way up the hill to the depot. The hard part about running at the Fitness Celebration is that there are so many poeple there that it's sometimse hard to weave your way through all the women. But we did our best and enjoyed our Blue Sky Bagels, chocolate milk, string cheese, apple and cookies.
I headed back into Caldwell and worked teh first shirt at Taste of the Harvest checking IDs and putting wristbands on people who were over-21. I love Taste of the Harvest- I love the yummy wines and beers, the delicious food that Bon Appetit knocked OUT OF THE PARK, seeing all of these people that it had been awhile since I had seen. For some reason, this TOH, there seemed to eb a lot more alumni which was nice- there was always someone to talk to and catch up with. Plus, the weather, as usual, was absolutely gorgeous.
Becky came over for dinner aftewards and after we demolished spaghetti and bread, we watched the most trashy television possibly, including Bad Girls Club, Say Yes to the Dress and Tough Love Couples. She also read all of Cosmo outloud to me whiel I was cleaning my room. We are two classy broads but the laughter was virtually non-stop.
Sunday night was spent at the Shakespeare Festival with Emily, Becky, James, Lindsay, Chris, Jake and Katie. We ate delicious picnic food, covered our heads during the off and on rain showers and laughed our butts off at the 39 Steps, especially at Joe Golden. He was hysterical and we've very lucky to have him on faculty. I love the Shakespeare Fest and can't wait to see more next year!
